Plovdiv is the second biggest city in Bulgaria. What to expect? A beautiful old town, cobble-stoned streets, Roman architecture and cats. If you are a cat lover, in the old town you will meet the local cats. Most of them are friendly and come to play. So let us escape from Sofia for one day and visit together Plovdiv. The European capital of culture for 2019 will make you wish to stay longer.
Plovdiv: what to see
Plovdiv is one of the oldest cities in Europe. The beginning of its history dates back to 4,000 years BC. We will explore the Old town with the Roman ruins and the Kapana art area. Kapana means trap because it is so easy to get lost in the small streets with the bars and small shops. In the old town some of the beautiful houses today are museums. While walking on the cobble-stoned streets, we will see some of them. Also we will enjoy the shopping pedestrian street.
If you are a wine lover, we suggest a visit to a local winery. Here you will learn more about the wine making in the region.

Tour Reviews
I was really happy to go to Plovdiv with this agency.
The tour was interesting and great and I what I liked the most was the fact that the two guide are sisters.
They picked me up and drop me at my accommodation and I appreciated the coffee, water and snacks in the car.
Thank you for this beautiful day.
