Welcome to Plovdiv, one of the oldest cities in the world. The second largest city in Bulgaria is famous for its beautiful old town, cobble-stoned streets, ancient Roman architecture, and cats. The European Capital of Culture for 2019 will make you wish to stay longer.

Plovdiv: what to see

Plovdiv ranks among the oldest cities in the world. The beginning of its history dates back to 6,000 years BC. The old town of Plovdiv is on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. We will explore the picturesque old town with the Roman ruins, the beautiful house museums and the Kapana creative district. Kapana means trap because it is so easy to get lost in the small streets with the art bars and small shops.

If you are a wine lover, we suggest a visit to a local winery. Here you will learn more about the wine making in the region.

I was really happy to go to Plovdiv with this agency.

The tour was interesting and great and I what I liked the most was the fact that the two guide are sisters.

They picked me up and drop me at my accommodation and I appreciated the coffee, water and snacks in the car.

Thank you for this beautiful day.
