Hiking on Vitosha Mountain
Today we invite you to escape from Sofia valley and see the city from above. Our hiking on Vitosha mountain for all nature lovers will make you forget the city life and reconnect with nature. Vitosha nature park gives us plenty of options for hiking or an easy walk. It is your choice if you prefer to hike among the high trees and enjoy Boyana lake and Boyana waterfall. Alternatively, you could keep silent for a minute while looking at Sofia from above, without hiking that much.
We will have time for lunch or a cup of tea at the Aleko hut. It is called after the Bulgarian writer Aleko Konstantinov. He established the first traveler club in Bulgaria in 1895. He organized the first hiking tour to Cherni vruh (2290m). This is the highest peak of the mountain. In wintertime you can ski during the day and even at night on Vitosha mountain.

Boyana church
This tour could include an optional visit to Boyana church or Dragalevtsi monastery. Boyana church is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The church is famous for its medieval frescoes. You could enjoy also lunch in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant at the foot of Vitosha mountain.
