Have you heard of Prohodna cave or the Eyes of God in Bulgaria? We invite you to go to a magical natural place close to Sofia.
Prohodna cave: one day tour from Sofia
Prohodna cave is special with the “two eyes on its roof”. People say these are the Eyes of God. The holes in the roof, formed through erosion, let light into the cave. And during wintertime or on rainy days it seems somebody higher up is crying. Everyone who stares up gets a positive vibe and feels nature’s magic. The Prohodna cave is a natural phenomenon, famous for its positive energy and the movies shot here. Some of them are Time of Violence, the Bulgarian movie from 1988, and the American movie: The Expendables 2.
Prohodna cave has two entrances, known as the Small Entrance (35m high) and the Big Entrance (45m high). We will see rock climbers and bungee jumpers. The size of the Big Entrance makes it suitable for bungee jumping.
Glozhene monastery
Furthermore, in the afternoon we will visit the Glozhene monastery. The male monastery is a must-see place in Bulgaria. It is located on a hill in the Balkan Mountains and there is a marvelous panorama view from the monastery to the Balkan Mountains. So, prepare your camera. Because it is worth the shot! The Glozhene monastery keeps the Bulgarian culture and spirit since 13th c. Its patron is St. George. Today 1 Bulgarian monk lives there.

Tour Reviews
It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Nvison Travel (Benny and Tsvety) for your trip to Bulgaria. I had the chance to experience their excellent tour guide services many times, visiting different beautiful places in Bulgaria.
But I was very impressed by the one day tour to Prohodna cave, the so called Eyes of God. Tsvety and Benny offered outstanding service attitude and demonstrated comprehensive knowledge about this magical nature place and the destinations we visited on the way- Saeva dupka and Glozhene monastery. They managed to attract our attention providing lots of valuable information about the cave and the surroundings in a very interesting way so that no one wanted to leave this place at the end of the day.
The girls are always ready to serve the needs and extra wishes of their travellers giving their best to the group. Through this friendly and service oriented manner, Benny and Tsvety always contribute to the great success of this tour, with long lasting and very positive memories of Prohodna and Bulgaria. I am sure, everyone travelled with them, one day will come back to Bulgaria!
Without a doubt, I confidently recommend this tour to Prohodna Cave ,provided by Nvision Travel , to everyone who loves nature and would like to take its magic with yourself.
Enjoy your time!
Vielen Dank Euch beiden! Bis bald mal wieder!
