Sofia off the beaten track: tour of Sofia surroundings

During our tour we will go to Sofia surroundings. Visit Kremikovtsi monastery with your local guide and enjoy the panoramic view over the city. Often, we could see horses or sheep on the fields next to the monastery. There is an old museum church dedicated to St George and a new active one. You could buy organic jam and honey from the monastery shop. We recommend this tour to people that love nature and are looking for a short escape from the busy city life. There is a chance for a picnic.

On weekends we offer you the chance to visit a local home and garden in one of the end neighborhoods of Sofia. You will meet locals and get the chance to experience Bulgarian hospitality. The lifestyle in these parts of Sofia is more peaceful and people grow their own vegetables.

If you book the tour not on a weekend, instead of going to a local home we will show you Sofia villa zones. Stop by the Bells monument, built as International Park for children of the world. We will look for your country’s bell. Third option is Boyana church which is under UNESCO protection. Another option is Dragalevtsi monastery at the foot of Vitosha mountain. Later, drop off at your accommodation in Sofia.
